Qal Imperfect יִזְבְּלֵנִי אִישִׁי Genesis 30:20b (J), my husband will honour me (in explanation of name Zebulun (see below); on another apparently explanation in v a compare זבד); > AV and others dwell with me, compare Thes Rob-Ges who derive dwell with from an assumed meaning be round (compare דור); and others (compare MV8. 9), who derive dwell as denominative from זְבֻל in sense dwelling.
זָבַל
(1) properly in my opinion, i.q. דָּבַל to be round, to make round, whence the Talmudic זֶבֶל, זְבֻל round or globular dung, such as that of goats, or camels, Syr. and Arab. ܙܶܒܠܳ, زِْبَلةُ.
(2) to inhabit [to dwell with], (comp. דּוּר No. 2). Genesis 30:20, יִזְבְּלֵנִי “he will inhabit (together with) me,” i.e. he (my husband) will dwell with me; the idea of conjugal intercourse being conjoined: for verbs of dwelling joined with an accusative, imply dwelling together, see גּוּר, שָׁכַן.
