Qal Infinitive construct אִשָּׁה ֗֗֗ כִּימֵי נִדַּת דְּוֺתָהּ Leviticus 12:2.
דָּוָה i.q. דָּאַב which see, to languish, to be sick (Arab. دَوِىَ and دَاءَ for دَوِأَ), especially used of women in menstruation. Leviticus 12:2, “the uncleanness of her menstruation;” compare Leviticus 15:33.
(2) to be sad [“sick at heart”]. Comp. דָּוֶה No. 2. Hence דָּוֶה, דְּוַי, דַּוָּי, מַדְוֶה.
