דֶּגֶל with suff. דִּגְלוֹ, plural דְּגָלִים const. דִּגְלֵי masc. a large military standard, that of each of the four camps into which the twelve tribes were divided; the smaller being called אֹתוֹת. Numbers 1:52, 2:2,, 10, 18, 25 10:14, 25 Numbers 10:25; Song of Solomon 2:4, וִדִגְלוֹ עָלַי אַהֲבָה “and his banner over me (was) love.”
