1090) sd (דסה DSh) AC: Thresh CO: Grass AB: ?: The pictograph d is a door representing the idea of moving back and forth. The s is a picture of teeth meaning to press. Combined these pictures mean "the back and forth movement of pressure". The grains were placed on the threshing floor where they were trampled on and beaten in order to separate the hulls from the grain. (eng: dash - as tread on and broken)
