Vocabulary of the Greek NT

For β . associated with time (class.), as in Luke 24:1, cf. P Lips I. 40ii. 10 (iv/v A.D.) So in the fragment of an epithalamium (iv/A.D.), P Ryl I. 17.6—

It is applied to colour in P Lond 899.4 (ii/A.D.) The comparative βαθύτερον is also found P Petr III. 43 (2) rectoiv, .13 (B.C. 245) (p. 121). Note a new compound, recalling the combination in Luke 6:48, P Hal I. 1ii. 83 (iii/B.C.), where a πολιτικὸς νόμος is headed φυτ [εύσ ]εως καὶ οἰκοδομ [ίας ] καὶ β [αθ ]υορυ [γῆς .
