Vocabulary of the Greek NT

For ᾽Α as the name of an Egyptian nome situated on the east side of the Nile, see P Lond 401.10 (B.C. 116–11) (= II. p. 14), P Oxy IV. 709.5 (c. A.D. 50). There would seem to be a reference to an Ἀραβία ἄνω in PSI 56.11 (A.D. 107), where see the editor’s note.
