Lg. 708b; ὑπὸ στενοχωρίας Id. Tht. 195a; opp. εὐρυχωρία and ἄνεσις, Plu. 2.679f, cf. 182b; ς. βίου the short space of life remaining, Ael. VH 2.41; τὸν λόγον ἀπὸ τῆς ἐκεῖ στενοχωρίας εἰς πεδίον ἐξαγάγῃ Lib. Or. 64.10 .
