προστρέχω, fut. -δρᾰμοῦμαι D. 21.224: — run to or towards, come to one, πρὸς τοὺς νεκρούς Pl. R. 440a; τινι Ar. Ach. 1084, Av. 759, X. An. 4.3.10, etc.: abs., run up, Id. HG 3.1.18, Cyr. 7.1.15, D.l.c., etc.
2. in hostile sense, make a sally, πρός τι X. Cyr. 5.4.47 .
3. of things, happen to one, τινι D.S. 13.37 codd.; προστρέχει πολλαχοῦ τὸ γίγνεται "" occurs frequently, Dam. Pr. 401 .

(= I. p. 91) βύσσινον ῥάκος, ib..359 (= p. 96) ῥάκος λινοῦν. See also Apoc. Petr. 15 ἄνδρες ῥάκη ῥυπαρὰ ἐνδεδύμενοι (cf. James 2:2). In Artem. p. 18.8 the word is used of mummy wrappings—οἱ ἀποθανόντες ἐσχισμένοις ἐνειλοῦνται ῥάκεσι.
