Πρόκειμαι passes readily into the meaning ";am present,"; ";am there,"; as in 2 Corinthians 8:12 : ct. P Lond 1201.2 (B.C. 161) (= III. p. 4) διὰ τῆς προκειμένης συγγραφῆς, and P Oxy II. 255.17 (A.D. 48) (= Selections, p. 47) τὴ [ν π ]ροκειμένην [γρα ]φήν —with reference to a census.
