A.D. 330–340) ἐφάνη δὲ ἡ ἀγάπη ὑμῶν ἐν πᾶσι ἡ προκυρ ̣ι ̣σσομένη (l. προκηρυσσομένη), ";your love which is trumpeted abroad was shown in all things"; (Bell). For the corresponding subst. = ";auction,"; cf. P Oxy IV. 716.20 (A.D. 186) τὴν προκήρυξιν γενέσθαι, ";that a public auction should be held.";
