πλησμονή is best understood in malam partem ";repletion,"; ";satiety,"; in the difficult passage Colossians 2:23; see Lightfoot’s note ad l., and to his citations add Euripides Fr. 887 ἐν πλησμονῇ τοι Κύπρις, ἐν πεινῶντι δ᾽ οὔ. Cf. also Artem. p. 199.18 πλησμονῆς ἢ ἐνδείας.
