";late,"; as in James 5:7 (cf. Exodus 9:32 : also Xen, Oec. xvii. 4), occurs in PSI IV. 433.2 (B.C. 261–0) τὰ μὲν οὖν παρ᾽ ἐμοὶ ὄψιμα ὄντα ὑπάρξει εἰς φυτείαν. For the comparative cf. P Flor II. 134*.9 (A.D. 260) ὁ καιρὸς νῦν ἐστιν ὀψιμώτερος, ";the season is now rather late,"; similarly P Fay 133.9 (iv/A.D.), and for the adverb cf. P Tebt I. 72.361 (B.C. 114–3) διὰ τ [ὸ ] ὀψίμως σπαρῆν [αι, and P Oxy III. 474.24 (A.D. 184 ?) οὐδέν ἐστιν τὸ καλούμενον ὀψίμως ὑπ᾽ αὐτοῦ περιγεγραμμένον.
