P Petr III. 53 (r) .6 (iii/B.C.) (= Witkowski.2, p. 45) οὐκ οἶ ]μαί σε ἀγνοεῖν οὔτ [ε. . .. ]π ̣ε ̣σχίσθην ἀπο ̣̣ σ ̣ο ̣. . .. , P Oxy XIV. 1641.6 (a loan with right of habitation—A.D. 68) οὐκ οὔσης με οὔτ᾽ ἄλλῳ οὐδενὶ ἐξουσίας ἐκβάλλιν σε οὐδὲ τοὺς παρὰ σοῦ ἐκ τοῦ ἐνοικισμοῦ, ";neither I nor any one else having the right to expel you or your agents from the habitation"; (Edd.), ib. 1775.2 (iv/A.D.) οὐχ ὤκνησα οὔτε πάλιν ἠμέλησα. A good ex. of οὔτε. . . οὔτε is afforded by the well-known boy’s letter, P Oxy I. 119.5 (ii/iii A.D.) (= Selections, p. 103), where the boy threatens his father that if he does not take him to Alexandria—οὐ μὴ γράψω σε ἐπιστολήν, οὔτε λαλῶ σε, οὔτε υἱγένω σε εἶτα, ";I won’t write you a letter, or speak to you, or wish you health"; : cf. also BGU II. 530.9 f. (i/A.D.) (= Selections, p. 60 f.) οὔτε ἀντέγραψας οὔτε ἦλθας, ";you neither answered nor came.";
