I fut. ἀναμνήσω, poet. ἀμμνήσω: Aeol. aor. Act. ὀμναῖσαι Sapph. Supp. 23.10: aor. inf. Pass. ὀμνάσθην Theoc. 29.26:

1. remind one of a thing, c. dupl. acc., ταῦτά μ' ἀνέμνησας Od. 3.211. cf. Hdt. 6.140, S. OT 1133, Th. 6.6: but also c. gen. rei, μή μ' ἀναμνήσῃς κακῶν E. Alc. 1045, cf. Pl. Mx. 246a: c. acc. pers. only, Sapph. l. c.

2. c. acc. pers. et inf., remind one to do, Pi. P. 4.54.

3. c. acc. rei only, recall to memory, make mention of, Antipho 2.4.11, D. 18.213.

4. foll. by Conj., ἀ. ὅτι.. Th. 2.89, etc.; ὡς εἶχε τὰ πράγματ' ἀναμνῆσαι D. 18.17.

5. ἀναμιμνῄσκων, ὁ, remembrancer, LXX 2 Samuel 20:24, al.

ἀναμιμνῄσκω; future ἀναμνήσω (from the form μνάω); passive (present ἀναμιμνήσκομαι); 1 aorist ἀνεμνήσθην; (from Homer down); to call to remembrance, to remind: τινα τί one of a thing (Winer's Grammar, § 32, 4a.), 1 Corinthians 4:11; to admonish, τινα followed by an infinitive, 2 Timothy 1:6. Passive to recall to one's own mind, to remember; absolutely: Mark 11:21. with the genitive of the thing, Mark 14:72 Rec: τί, Mark 14:72 L T Tr WH; contextually, to (remember and) weigh well, consider: 2 Corinthians 7:15; Hebrews 10:32; cf.
