The subst. is found several times in the Ptolemaic papyri, e.g. P Leid Ciii. 13 (= I. p. 93), Ti. 14 (= I . p. 112) al., P Tebt I. 112.22 (B.C. 112) θυμιάματος ε ̄. In BGU I. 1.10 (iii/ A.D.) the editor reads εἰς θυσίας καὶ [ἐπι ]θυμ [ιάμ (ατα) ?, but Wilcken Chrest. I. p. 122 has [ ?]θυμ [ιάματα ]. The word also occurs in the Arcadian inscr. Syll 939.15 ff. along with words of similar reference—ἀγάλμα [τι ], μάκων [σ ]ι λευκαῖς, λυχνίοις, θυμιάμασιν, [ζ ]μύρναι, ἀρώμασιν.
