εὐλογητός, εὐλογητόν (εὐλογέω), the Sept. for בָּרוּך, a Biblical and ecclesiastical word; blessed, praised, Vulg. benedictus: applied to God, Luke 1:68; Romans 1:25; Romans 9:5 (on its position here cf. Abr. § 19, 1:453 Mang.): εὐλογητός, οὐ μόνον εὐλογημένος ... τό μέν γάρ τῷ πεφυκεναι, τό δέ τῷ νομίζεσθαι λέγεται μόνον ... τῷ πεφυκεναι εὐλογίας ἄξιον ... ὅπερ εὐλογητόν ἐν τοῖς χρησμοις ά᾿δεται.
