2. as law-term, laying of information against one who discharged public functions for which he was legally disqualified, writ of indictment in such a case, And. 1.10, D. 20.156 (pl.), Arist. Ath. 52.1 (pl.), cf. Decr.ib. 29.4, IG 22.1128.35.
