I conspicuous, ἵν' ἔ. μετὰ πᾶσιν Ἀργείοισι γένοιτο Il. 5.2: hence, considerable, σίτου μοῖρα CPHerm. 6.4.

II quite plain, πάντ' ἐποίησεν ἔκδηλα D. 2.21, cf. OGI 665.13 (i A. D.), etc.: Sup., ἐκδηλοτάτη ἐνάργεια Phld. Herc. 1251.13.

III Adv. -λως openly, manifestly, plainly, Id. Vit. p.40J., Ph. 1.111, Plu. Oth. 17, etc.: Comp., Id. 2.625d, Them. Or. 15.192a: Sup., Philostr. Her. 19.12, D.C. 60.3.
