ἐγγύς [ῠ], Adv., Comp. ἐγγυτέρω (-τέρῳ Hell.Oxy. 6.3), also - ύτερον Pl. Lg. 704e: Sup. ἐγγυτάτω or - ύτατα (first in Hp., and Att.); also ἔγγῑον, ἔγγιστα (v. ἐγγίων).
