1. taught, learnt, ἅπαντα γάρ σοι τἀμὰ νουθετήματα κείνης διδακτά of her teaching, S. El. 344; δ. ἀνθρωπίνης σοφίας λόγοι 1 Corinthians 2:13; ὅσοις δ. μηδέν, ἀλλ' ἐν τῇ φύσει τὸ σωφρονεῖν εἴληχεν E. Hipp. 79.

2. that can be taught or learnt, τὰ δ. things which may be taught by study and experience, Pi. N. 3.41; opp. ἄρρητα, S. OT 300; δίδαξον.. εἰ διδακτά μοι if I may learn them, Id. 1. that can be taught (Pindar, Xenophon, Plato, others).

2. taught, instructed, followed by a genitive by one (cf. Winers Grammar, 189 (178); 194 (182); Buttmann, 169 (147)): τοῦ θέο, by God, John 6:45 from Isaiah 54:13; πνεύματος ἁγίου (G L T Tr WH omit ἁγίου), by the (Holy) Spirit, 1 Corinthians 2:13. (νουθετηματα κεινα διδακτα, Sophocles El. 344.)

Vocabulary of the Greek NT

To the classical reff. for this not very common word we may add Pss. Sol. 17:35 in the description of Israel’s King, καὶ αὐτὸς βασιλεὺς δίκαιος καὶ διδακτὸς ὑπὸ θεοῦ ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς (cf. LXX Isaiah 54:13).
