The LORD said to Moses, "Put Aaron''s staff back - in front of the Testimony, to be kept as a sign for the rebellious ..., so that you may put an end to their grumbling against Me, lest they die."
English Standard Version
And the Lord said to Moses Put back the staff of Aaron before the testimony to be kept as a sign for the rebels that you may make an end of their grumblings against me lest they die
Holman Christian Standard Version
The Lord told Moses, "Put Aaron's staff back in front of the testimony to be kept as a sign for the rebels, so that you may put an end to their complaints before Me, or else they will die."
King James Version
And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels *; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.

And Yahweh said to Moses, "Bring back the staff of Aaron before the testimony as a guard and sign for the children of rebellion, and let them finish their grumblings before me and not die."
