But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness They did not walk in my statutes but rejected my rules by which if a person does them he shall live and my Sabbaths they greatly profaned Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them in the wilderness to make a full end of them
Holman Christian Standard Version
"But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness. They did not follow My statutes and they rejected My ordinances the person who does them will live by them. They also completely profaned My Sabbaths. So I considered pouring out My wrath on them in the wilderness to put an end to them.
King James Version
But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do (8799), he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted (8765): then I said (8799), I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
Lexham English Bible

New American Standard Version
"But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness. They did not walk in My statutes and they rejected My ordinances, by which, if a man observes them, he will live; and My sabbaths they greatly profaned. World English Bible
But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they didn't walk in my statutes, and they rejected my ordinances, which if a man keep, he shall live in them; and my Sabbaths they greatly profaned. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them in the wilderness, to consume them.
