καὶ ἐτμήθη τὰ πέταλα τοῦ χρυσίου τρίχες ὥστε συνυφᾶναι σὺν τῇ ὑακίνθῳ καὶ τῇ πορφύρᾳ καὶ σὺν τῷ κοκκίνῳ τῷ διανενησμένῳ καὶ σὺν τῇ βύσσῳ τῇ κεκλωσμένῃ ἔργον ὑφαντόν·
Berean Study Bible
They hammered out - thin sheets of gold and cut threads from them to interweave ... with the blue, ... purple, ... and scarlet yarn ..., ... and fine linenthe work of a skilled craftsman.
English Standard Version
And they hammered out gold leaf and he cut it into threads to work into the blue and purple and the scarlet yarns and into the fine twined linen in skilled design
Holman Christian Standard Version
They hammered out thin sheets of gold, and he cut threads from them to interweave with the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and the fine linen in a skillful design.
King James Version
And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet *, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.
