This is what the LORD says: "For three transgressions of Edom, even four, I will not revoke My judgment, because he pursued his brother with the sword and stifled all compassion; his anger raged continually, and his fury flamed incessantly.
English Standard Version
Thus says the Lord For three transgressions of Edom and for four I will not revoke the punishment because he pursued his brother with the sword and cast off all pity and his anger tore perpetually and he kept his wrath forever

The Lord says: I will not relent from punishing Edom for three crimes, even four, because he pursued his brother with the sword He stifled his compassion, his anger tore at them continually, and he harbored his rage incessantly.
