These women were from the nations about which the LORD had told ... the Israelites ..., "You must not intermarry with them - - - -, for surely they will turn your hearts - after their gods." Yet Solomon clung to these women in love.

from the nations concerning which the Lord had said to the people of Israel You shall not enter into marriage with them neither shall they with you for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods Solomon clung to these in love

from the nations that the Lord had told the Israelites about, "Do not intermarry with them, and they must not intermarry with you, because they will turn you away from Me to their gods." Solomon was deeply attached to these women and loved them.
