Philistine giant, one of the sons of Rapha (A. V. "the giant"); slain at Gezer by Sibbechai the Hushathite, one of David's warriors (1 Chronicles 20:4). In the parallel passage, 2 Samuel 21:18, he is called "Saph," and the place of his death is given as Gob.
