English scholar; died at London in 1701. He was one of the first Jews after the Return to busy himself with the study of rabbinic literature. He is the author of notes on the commentary to the Earlier Prophets by Isaac Abravanel, published with the text, Hamburg, 1686. Fidanque revised and published a second edition of the "Miklal Yofi" by Solomon ben Melek, Amsterdam, 1685.
