Ahla'i or Ah'la-i. (ornamental). Daughter of Sheshan, whom, having no issue, he gave in marriage to his Egyptian slave, Jarha. 1 Chronicles 2:31; 1 Chronicles 2:35. From her were descended Zabad, one of David's mighty men, 1 Chronicles 11:41, and Aza-riah, one of the captains of hundreds in the reign of Joash. 2 Chronicles 23:1.
