Gaash (gâ'ash), earthquake. The hill where Joshua was buried. Joshua 24:30; Judges 2:9. South of Tibneh, which is identified as Timnath-serah, is a hill, upon the north side of which are tombs; hence it is supposed to be "the hill Gaash."
