A prophet of the Lord. His history we have, 2 Chronicles 11:1-23. His name means, that hears the Lord, from Thamah that hears—and Jah, the Lord. There are many of this name in the Old Testament. (1 Chronicles 4:37; Ezra 8:16; Nehemiah 6:10; Jeremiah 29:24-25; Jer 36:12)
