Last Abbot of Glastonbury; martyr. Born c.1460;died in 1539 at Tor Hill, Glastonbury, England. He was ordained in 1501, and elected abbot in 1525. He was hanged with John Thome and Roger James for refusing to take the Oath of Supremacy. Beatified in 1895.
