Martyred in 1535 at Tyburn, London, England. Educated at Christ's and Corpus Christi colleges, Cambridge. He entered the Brigittine Order in 1513. He was hanged with the Carthusian priors for refusing to take the Oath of Supremacy. Beatified in 1886; canonized in 1970.
