Words used in rescripts, to signify that the Pope does not condition concession on motives of petition. In legislative enactments, designates informal method the Pope uses to make a decree, for example Pius XI made the chapels of Knights of Columbus and Roman playgrounds papal by his Motu Proprio of March 25, 1929.
