Martyr, born Northamptonshire, England; died Tyburn, England, 1581He was educated at Cambridge, and after exercising the Anglican ministry was converted and ordained at Rheims. Shortly afterward he was captured in the Marshalsea prison while visiting Catholic prisoners. He was found guilty of "persuading" others to join the Catholic faith, and executed.
