Confessor, born Viterbo, Italy, 1668; died Rome, Italy, 1750. Received into the Franciscan Order as a simple lay brother, he lived a most austere life at Viterbo, Tolfa, Albano, and Rome, and was celebrated for his charitable care of the poor and sick. He chose to call himself the ass or beast of burden of the Capuchins. Emblem: image of Our Lady. Beatified, 1806. Buried in the church of the Immaculate Conception, Rome. Feast, May 21,.
