A Byzantine chronicle written in the 7th century, following a system of chronology based on the paschal cycle. It is known also as Chronicon Alexandrinum; Antiochenum; Casaubonianum, or Constantinopolitanum. Beginning with the Creation, it is continued down to A.D. 629. The period 600-627 is original work. The author was probably a cleric attached to the Patriarch Sergius.
