KISHION . A town allotted to Issachar ( Joshua 19:20 ), given to the Levites ( Joshua 21:28 ). The parallel passage, 1 Chronicles 6:72 , reads Kedesh , which is perhaps a textual error for Kishion. The latter name has not been recovered.
