ASSIR . 1 . A son of Korab ( Exodus 6:24 , 1 Chronicles 6:22 ). 2 . A son of Ebiasaph ( 1 Chronicles 6:23; 1 Chronicles 6:37 ). 3 . A son of Jeconiah (AV [Note: Authorized Version.] and RVm [Note: Revised Version margin.] of 1 Chronicles 3:17 ). It is probable, however, that RV [Note: Revised Version.] correctly renders ‘Jeconiah the captive .’
