AIJALON . 1 . A city allotted to, but not occupied by, Dan ( Joshua 19:42 , Judges 1:35 ). We find it in the hands of Rehoboam ( 2 Chronicles 11:10 ); later the Philistines took it ( 2 Chronicles 28:18 ). It may be the modern Yâlo , 3 miles N.E. of Latrûn , 14 miles from Jerusalem. 2 . An unknown town in Zebulun ( Judges 12:12 ).
