ADINU ( Esther 5:14 Esther 5:14 , called Adin in 8:32). His descendants returned with Zerub. to the number of 454 ( Esther 5:14 Esther 5:14 , Ezra 2:15 ) or 655 ( Nehemiah 7:20 ). A second party of 51 ( Ezra 8:6 ) or 251 ( 1Es 8:32 ) accompanied Ezra. They are mentioned among ‘the chiefs of the people’ who sealed the covenant ( Nehemiah 10:16 ).
