Those who actively work to bring about peace and reconciliation where there is hatred and enmity. God blesses peacemakers and declares them to be His children (Matthew 5:9 ). Those who work for peace share in Christ's ministry of bringing peace and reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-19; Ephesians 2:14-15; Colossians 1:20 ).
