Golden Rule

Additional Links
The name usually given to the command of Jesus recorded in Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31 —do to others as you would like them to do to you. The designation “Golden Rule” does not appear in the Bible, and its origin in English is difficult to trace. The principle of the Golden Rule can be found in many religions, but Jesus' wording of it was original and unique.
