(gihd dal' ti) Personal name meaning, “I brought from there” or “I made great, praised.” Son of Heman to whom David gave the task of prophesying through playing musical instruments (1 Chronicles 25:4 ). He became a leader of a clan of Temple musicians (1 Chronicles 25:29 ).
