Lower or lesser Armenia (Jeremiah 51:27). Minnai in the Assyrian inscriptions near lake Urmniyeh (Rawlinson, Herodot. 1:464). Van was its capital. Conquered by Tettarassa, general of Tetembar II the Assyrian king whose wars are recorded on the black obelisk in British Museum.
