Cankerworm, the locust in its larva state, in which it is most voracious. So does A.V. render the Hebrew, gãzám (גָּזָם) - Strongs: H1501; the word palmerworm (Dichomeris ligulella), given by the D.V. seems better.
Verses:
- Joel 1:4
- Joel 2:25
- Amos 4:9
