Voice of the Lord
Give a reasoned answer to anyone who asks you to explain the hope you have in you (1 Peter 3:15).
Many think this verse refers to intellectual arguments for our faith. There is a place for such a presentation. However, Kefa (Peter) is more likely asking us to be ready to testify to the power of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) in our own lives. We should share what God has actually done for us—his restoration of marriage and family, his healing of soul and body, his supernatural answers to prayer. Our shalom (peace) and our confidence provide evidence. A life of intimacy with God always conveys a testimony of security and renewal. These are also reasons for faith.
The person who experiences the presence and power of the Ruach (Spirit) has powerful reasons for his faith. Consider today how your walk with the Lord provides a powerful apologetic for Yeshua.
