Ch. 4 â Nécessité de retourner à lâÃternel, et jugement sur Jérusalem
Le chapitre 4 reprenant le sujet des chapitres 2 et 3, et lâappliquant au peuple de ce temps, [4:1] déclare que sâil se retourne ce doit être vers lâÃternel lui-même, [4:4] et que ni formes ni demi-mesures, ne lui seront dâaucun profit. Après le verset 4, le prophète annonce le jugement certain de Dieu, qui viendrait du nord et tomberait, en destruction, sur Jérusalem.
