Ezekiel 4

Everett's Study Notes on the Holy ScripturesEverett's Study Notes

Verses 1-17

Ezekiel 4:4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.

Ezekiel 4:4 “Lie thou also upon thy left side” Comments - Note that people in this ancient, oriental culture did lay on their left side to dine, because they were usually right-handed, thus freeing their right hand to eat.
