1:6 marble. (a-40) Or 'mother of pearl.'

1:7 bounty. (b-25) Or 'power;' lit. 'hand;' and so ch. 2.18.

Verse 10

1:10 chamberlains (c-26) Or 'eunuchs;' and so vers. 12,15, &c.
