1 Wathi uYehova kum, Phinda, uye uthande umfazi, ethandwa nguwabo, ekrexeza; njengoko uYehova abathandayo oonyana bakaSirayeli, bebheka thixweni bambi nje, bethanda izicumba zeerasintyisi.2 Ndamthenga wangowam ngeshumi elinesihlanu lesilivere, nehomere yerhasi, neleteke yerhasi.3 Ndathi kuye, Uze uhlalele mna imihla emininzi, ungahenyuzi, ungabi wandoda yimbi; nam ndenjenjalo kuwe.4 Ngokuba oonyana bakaSirayeli baya kuhlala imihla emininzi bengenakumkani, bengenamthetheli, bengenambingelelo, bengenasimiso samatye, bengenaefodi namilonde-khaya.5 Emveni koko baya kubuya oonyana bakaSirayeli, bamquqele uYehova uThixo wabo, noDavide ukumkani wabo; baye benkwantya kuYehova, nasekulungeni kwakhe ekupheleni kwemihla.
